Mobility is central to Crossfit. Without a base level of mobility, we can’t do the simplest movements correctly. It is not just about strength, but strength in the correct positions. It isn’t just about endurance, but making sure the movements are as efficient as possible, in order to limit the impact high intensity training has on your joints and cardiovascular system.
TLC is so passionate about mobility because we believe it is the single biggest limiting factor holding people back in Crossfit. Improving it can have a huge impact on injury prevention and also performance improvement.
Livewell will be working closely with the coaching team to direct and drive elements of RAMP protocol (pre/post WOD stretches) with workshops and seminars to help improve those mobility issues.
