Why You're Progressing Faster Than You Think

 

In our pursuit of growth and improvement, it's easy to fall into the trap of underestimating our progress. We often get caught up in comparing ourselves to others or fixating on our perceived shortcomings. But what if I told you that you're actually doing better than you think you are?

 

Let's break it down. When it comes to strength progression, the path is often linear. Hit the gym regularly, increase the weights gradually, and you'll see measurable gains over time. It's a straightforward process driven by physiological adaptation. However, skill progression is a different beast altogether. Whether you're learning a new language or mastering an instrument, refining your craft doesn't always follow a linear trajectory. It's marked by peaks and valleys, plateaus, and breakthroughs. But when was the list time you zoomed out to see how you're really doing?

 

Here's the kicker: you're progressing much faster than you realise, relative to the time you invest.
